Peter Siedlaczek did a wonderful job, showing how to play The Trumpet with a keyboard and an expression. Sample Modeling â The Trumpet 3.0 (KONTAKT) The main material of the instruments consists of 278 MB of samples, performed on chromatic lines by a professional trumpet player, practically over the whole range of the instrument. All samples are not looped. The minimum playing time of the sample is 10 seconds.

Instrument ranges
The following table lists ranges for each Garritan Instruments for Finale (GIFF) instrument included with Finale. Pitches notated outside of an instrumentâs range will not sound if GIFF is selected as the Playback device. The instruments are organized by the category in which they appear in the ARIA Player, not the Finale instrument categories found in the Setup Wizard and Score Manager. Ranges are stated as they appear in the ARIA Player. Bold type indicates an instrument new to the Finale 2014 GIFF library. Noteman says: An expression intended for use with Human Playback should not include a playback definition - Human Playback looks for the text only. Make sure Type is set to None under the Playback tab of the Expression Designer dialog box. Also, Note-Attached expressions are recommended for keyswitch expressions.
Any instrument with 'KS' in its name (as shown in the Score Manager or ARIA Player) includes alternate sounds relating to a particular performance technique for that instrument. For example, all 'KS' string instruments can play in an arco (bowed), pizzicato (plucked), or tremolo (in rapid succession) style. When using Human Playback, text expressions or Smart Shapes can be added to 'trigger' these keyswitches as part of Human Playbackâs interpretation. Alternatively, you can invoke a keyswitch manually â see Adding keyswitches as expressions.
The following are a list of triggers that can be used to change the playback sound of any GIFF instrument that supports keyswitches. Note that keyswitches reside in the lowest octave for all instruments, well below the range of the instrument (see MIDI note to pitch table for equivalents).

Kontakt Instrument by WavesfactoryBeyond the Mellotron
Newmello is a recreation of one of the most beautiful classics, the Mellotron M400. 25 instruments recorded into cassette tape and new features that make it go further beyond the original.
Used by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, King Crimson and many more. Newmello offers the same sound and behaviour than the original unit with new approaches in sound design and scripting in Kontakt.
New But Gold - Newmello I brings you back to the sound that shaped an era, the Mellotron M400. This video screencast shows the 25 instruments included.
Main View
Noise control with two modes, blend two different tapes, attack and release knobs and a tilt EQ. 25 patches selectable from the screen display or go through the patches with your keyboard.
Settings
Originally, Mellotron samples only played for 8 seconds. Newmello I can behave like that or you can go beyond and loop them. Round robin and dynamics simulation, sample start offset and a purge knob. Total control over the instrument.
The Patches
Rack Effects
It comes with 'Rack Effects', an advanced script that lets you add up to 12 different DSP effects, designed to improve the sound of the library and to exponentially increase the sound design capabilities.
System Requirements
Note: Newmello I requires the full version of Kontakt 4 or 5.
